Objective:

Be the last country standing, or ally yourself with others to ensure your place on the map!

Cards: x 180

Power-Up Cards x 50:

  • x15 Damage +1
  • x15 Speed +1
  • x8 Damage +2
  • x8 Speed +2
  • x4 EMP

Attack Cards x 60:

  • x40 Nuke +1
  • x20 Nuke +2

Defense Cards x 65:

  • x20 Fallout Shelter
  • x30 Anti-Air Defense
  • x10 Nuke Interceptors
  • x5 Multi-Air Defense
  • x5 Reagan Cards

All cards are split into their separate decks and placed next to each other.  Once a card is used, it is discarded, shuffled, and recycled back into play after all cards in the deck have been used.

Rules:

All players roll a six sided die to determine their country during the game.

1 – USA

2 – Europe

3 – Russia

4 – China

5 – Israel

6 – Player’s choice

If a player rolls a six, they are the first to go. If not, then the player with the lowest number starts, followed by the player to their left, and so on.

Every nation has a set 10 health.  Players may choose to add to or subtract from this number if they wish to make the game longer or shorter.

You may have 7 Cards in a hand at one time, of the 7 you may have 5 defense or nuke cards of whichever mixture desired (e.g. 2 nuke cards, 3 defense; 4 nuke cards, 1 defense, etc.) and 2 power ups.  Along with these 7 cards, every player is allotted a Reagan card.

You may use 3 cards per turn

You may fire at as many countries as you like per turn, but are allowed only one nuke per country each time. Every time a player fires a nuke, it is placed on the blip immediately in front of the origin point. Any speed power ups apply on the following turn.

Fallout Shelters halve damage taken and last until hit. You may only have one on your country at a time.

Nukes advance 2 blips per turn if the distance from the country fired at is more than five spaces. When within five spaces of the country, nukes advance a single blip.  This speed penalty applies to nukes with a speed power-up as well, where the current speed is halved, and rounded up if a decimal number.

Power-ups may be used on nukes as long as they are 5 or more blips from the target. Only two are allowed per nuke.  Power-Up +2 cards of the same type may not be stacked, but any others are (e.g. a nuke with +1 and +2 damage is allowed, but a nuke with two +2 damages is not).

Anti-Air Defense cards may be used on any nuke within 2 blips from target. The anti-air can shoot down a nuke within those spaces. The player who is shooting down the nukes is given a 6 sided die and given 2 numbers to roll for by the nuke’s sender. The player has 2 chances out of 3 rolls to get one of the numbers. If they succeed the nuke is destroyed.

Multi-Air Defense Cards work the same way as the regular Anti-Air Defense Cards, but the player may fire at every nuke currently within the two blip range.

Nuke Interceptor Cards work the same as Anti-Air Defense Cards, but on a successful roll, the player that deployed the Nuke Interceptor is given the opposing player’s nuke. This nuke is transferred to the same point on their trajectory line as the opposing player’s. Any power-ups originally added to the nuke are discarded.

Reagan cards can be used at any time to destroy any nuke currently on a trajectory towards them.  A Reagan card is a one use card, and so may only be played once a game by each player.  Any player may also use their own Reagan card to assist another player, if so desired.

EMP cards act as a skip for the player it is deployed on. All nukes within 5 spaces of the player affected by the EMP stop for that turn. All nukes outside of 5 only move 1 blip instead of the normal 2. The player affected by the EMP may only erect a Fallout Shelter, if they do not already have one up.
